The free online diets plans that most dieters are attracted to are the fad diets that use unusal and sometimes extreme methods to lose weight. For the most part, these fad diets are successful in creating fat loss for dieters who give their plans a chance. Yet, they are still bad diets to use.

To me, successful diets must do three things. First, they must successful help you lose weight. Second, they must fix your diet so that you keep the weight off. Finally, a diet must create their plan in a health conscience way. Fad diets can promise the first thing but they sacrifice the final two.

The one benefit to fad diets is that they will help you lose fat and in most circumstances, help you lose fat fast. However, they sacrifice other things to get you there and in the long run, fad diets are a proven waste of time.

Diets must be able to keep the weight lost off. Fad diets don’t do this because they don’t fix the person’s diet. What I mean is that fad diets don’t fix your original problem. Because gained weight because they had a poor diet and once they are done with these fad diets, they will go back to that poor diet. Therefore, they will gain the weight back.

Fad diets also sacrifice health for success. Diets like the Atkins Diet where they go extremely low carbs is very unhealthy for you. Your body needs some carbs during the day to maintain a healthy lifestyle and extended use of the fad diets like the Atkins can be very dangerous.

Therefore, for these reasons, it’s important that you stay away from these fad diets. Yes they can promise you results quickly but what they sacrifice is not worth your time. If you found this article informative and wish to seek more about dieting, visit free online diets.
