It’s been a very old question that many free online diets have tried to figure out, is it possible to target fat? Is it possible to lose weight in the tummy but not lose fat in the breasts? Is it possible to just target the buttocks to lose weight? Many have stated their opinions but there is only one true answer.

No, it isn’t possible. It’s possible to target specific areas to tighten and tone but it isn’t possible to target areas to cut fat. Why? That’s just not how the body operates. The body fat burning capabilities aren’t controlled by your mental thoughts. The body goes where it needs to go and there is nothing you can do about it.

Fat loss happens when there is shortfall of energy/calories from an everyday basis. So the body has to find an additional source of energy. It taps into the body fat to find that additional energy and then uses it for whatever it deems fit. As more and more body fat is used, you lose more and more fat.

Where does the body specifically go first to dig into the body fat? There is no specific area. The body evenly takes fat from all over the body so that you don’t look too big in one area. Therefore you can’t control the body to take fat from your buttocks and leave the fat in the breasts as is.

So is it possible to target fat? No but that doesn’t mean that it is impossible to get the body that you want.
