Hemmroids is very rampant nowadays. The primary reason for this is an unhealthy lifestyle. Stress, insufficient rest or sleep and unhealthy diet often lead to different illness like high blood pressure, hypertension and other abnormalities inside the body. High blood pressure and hypertension can also cause a bigger problem – hemmroids.
Hemmroids is the swelling or inflammation of the anal part or the lower rectum’s veins. There are different groups of veins in the anal part and the diseases are called internal and external hemmroids; each of this are swelled veins that are caused by different reasons.
Hemmroids are often bleeding, itching and painful; bleeding hemmroids are those which are irritated by the tension created in the anus because of hard stool or chronic constipation. Other causes of bleeding hemmroids are poor diet, cirrhosis, pregnancy and aging to name a few.
Since there are several groups of veins in the anus there are also different types of hemmroids; one type of hemorrhoid is the internal hemorrhoid which is not that painful since it is located inside the anus where there are no pain receptors. It will be hard for the patient to distinguish whether he/she has developed the condition already or not yet. For this kind of situation, the first thing that a patient must do is to check his/her stool regularly and see if there is any blood in the stool, if present it is better to consult a doctor as soon as possible.
The next type of hemorrhoid is the external one which is located outside of the anal or lower rectum. External hemmroids are painful and can lead to bleeding hemmroids. Bleeding hemmroids can be cured if in the initial stage the patient consults a specialist and gets regular treatment.
