Excessive Sweating Cure

General Add comments

Is it possible that there is an excessive sweating cure? For many a sufferer of hyperhidrosis, this is a question which needs answering. The truth is, you will never completely shut down your sweating, doing so would mean heatstroke and possibly death, however you can most definately cure it to the extent of sweating as much as the average person. So if you’re looking for an excessive sweating cure, these treatments are as close as they get.

1. Iontophoresis

This is a process in which you place your sweating hands or feet in shallow trays filled with water while having a slight electrical current passed through it. The electric current reacts with the water and minerals within to create a protective shield around your hands which prevents sweat from escaping. It is over 80% effective in curing excessive sweating but takes 30-45 min every other day. Eventually you can wittle down to once every week or even once a month.

2. Surgery

Surgery involves making an incision in your back and inserting a small camera inside to find your sympathetic nerves. These are the nerves that signal your sweat glands to sweat a bit too much. Once found, they are burned and cut, this is as close to an excessive sweating cure as you can get. This is effective in 98% of cases, however, there are complications. There is the possibility of compensatory sweating developing. This is where you sweat more in other areas such as your back in response to not being able to sweat as much from your underarms.
